Neighbors gathered on Saturday, March 14, from 9:00–11:00 AM for a fun-filled morning celebrating nature at Cross Creek West. The event took place at the model home park, conveniently located across from The Waterhole at 4803 Garden Crest Ln, where families enjoyed a variety of hands-on wildlife experiences. From friendly farm animals and fascinating reptiles to interactive nature exhibits, there was something for everyone to explore and enjoy.
Cross Creek also partnered with the Houston Zoo to help protect wildlife habitats. Residents brought electronic recycling to the Wildlife Expo, earning raffle entries for each item donated. One lucky resident won a one-of-a-kind painting created by a Houston Zoo gorilla, making for a truly unique and memorable prize.
A special highlight of the morning was the exclusive butterfly release for Cross Creek residents, creating a beautiful and meaningful moment shared throughout the community.
As guests explored the event, they enjoyed music from a live DJ, stilt walkers, face painting, photo booths, and delicious bites from a food truck serving crowd favorites. Attendees also had the chance to enter a giveaway for a year-long Houston Zoo membership, adding even more excitement to the day.
