Local Community

Thanks to Scouts from several local Troops, U.S. flags are placed in the yards of residents participating in the Flags Across America Program on select national holidays. 

 

The attached map shows current CCR flag program territories and the Scouts who cover them. Email the scout and he or his parents will get back to you with information about the program and how to register. If you are outside a designated territory, don't despair -- as more Scouts volunteer for new territories, we will update this map. 

 

Help us fill our streets with American flags for the love of our country, show support for the men and women who defend our freedoms, and be dedicated to the ideals of Scouting.

The City of Fulshear is located in northwest Fort Bend County, Texas, located at 29378 McKinnon, Suite A. The city limits stretch across approximately 10 square miles of beautiful landscape ranging from rolling terrain dotted with century-old hardwoods, grassy prairie land, and serene lowlands along the banks of the Brazos River. The Fulshear Police Department was reestablished in 2007 under the direction of Chief Scott Head. Currently, the department consists of five officers. The department manages a fleet of three patrol units, all equipped with an In-car video system and Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs), which are in-car computers.

The Fulshear Simonton Fire Department has been proudly serving the citizens of Fort Bend County since 1963. 

The department has evolved from an all-volunteer to a combination department with state-of-the-art apparatus and facilities. Lamar CISD puts its students first, and Cross Creek Ranch scholars zoned to the district attend new, state-of-the-art schools focused on preparing students for the 21st century. The middle school, junior high, and high school are located on adjoining campuses nearby, while the elementary school is just a few minutes away from our community.
