3/21 Sweat & Connect

Residents joined us on Saturday, March 21st to Sweat & Connect with the Cross Creek Fitness Community at Camp Flewellen for an energizing morning of wellness, goal setting, and connection. The event brought together fitness, community spirit, and a fun fitness challenge auction where participants had the chance to claim exciting prizes through their hard work and determination. It was a dynamic and uplifting experience that encouraged everyone to take steps toward their best selves.

Measurements, Macros and Muscles: 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
Participants took advantage of optional personalized fitness strategies with CCR Personal Trainers. They learned about their muscle mass and body fat percentage, set clear and achievable wellness goals, and discovered their personalized daily calorie targets. It was a powerful way to begin their fitness journey with clarity, confidence, and a plan.

Fitness Challenge Auction: 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
This unique auction had no cash involved. Instead, residents placed bids using exercises and fitness challenges for a chance to win exciting prizes. The highest bidders committed to completing their selected challenges to claim their rewards, creating a fun and motivating atmosphere.

Prizes included a Ninja Blender, Under-Table Walking Pad, and AirPods.

After the workout, attendees stayed to cheer on participants as they completed their challenges in this high-energy, crowd-favorite event.

Cardio & Strength Followed by Stretch Class: 10:00 AM – 10:50 AM
Residents got moving in a 50-minute workout designed for all fitness levels. The class included 30 minutes of dynamic cardio and strength training, followed by a rejuvenating 20-minute mobility and stretch session to finish strong. Participants left feeling challenged, energized, and accomplished.

Fitness Auction Bidding: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
The morning wrapped up with continued excitement as participants completed their winning bids. If a bidder was unable to finish their total reps, the challenge passed on to the next contender, keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged.

It was a morning filled with movement, motivation, and meaningful connection. Residents came for the workout, stayed for the community, and left feeling stronger than when they arrived.
